Insurance Act 1938

Taken as amended to 2015. s. 45 is used in its substituted form — no policy may be called in question after three years on any ground, and a challenge within three years must be on fraud or misstatement communicated in writing with reasons (Act 5 of 2015, w.e.f. 26 December 2014). Where the IRDA Act 1999 Schedule differs from the Insurance Act, the Insurance Act governs.
