Which course and syllabus does Raysheo cover?
The LL.B. as taught at Indian universities — both the three-year LL.B. and the five-year B.A. LL.B. The Bar Council of India prescribes the compulsory subjects every recognised law course must teach, so the core papers are the same wherever you study; what varies between universities is how those papers are divided into units and which electives are offered. Raysheo is organised by subject and unit, and the unit structure follows the University of Mumbai scheme. Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Download a subject once and every card, question and note works with no signal at all — on the train, in the reading room, anywhere. Your ratings and progress are stored on the device and sync the next time you are online.
Is this a substitute for reading the bare act?
No, and it is not meant to be. It is a study aid, not legal advice and not a replacement for your prescribed textbook. Every card names its provision and, where one exists, its leading case, precisely so that you can go and read the source — which is the habit the degree is actually trying to build.
Who writes the content, and how do you know it is right?
Cards are drafted by law graduates and reviewed before publication. Nothing publishes until the reasoning is written in plain language and a provision is cited with the correct sub-section. That is also why subjects ship one at a time and complete — every unit with its flashcards, MCQs, written answers with model answers, revision notes and chapter reading — rather than five subjects half-done.
How does the spaced repetition actually work?
You rate each card after answering; the interval before it returns grows when you know it and collapses when you do not. Unusually, we show you all of it — the next interval on every button, the ease factor, and the full history of any card. You can adjust the defaults in settings.
What does it cost, and can I try it first?
One unit in every semester is free — unit one of Law of Contract in Semester I — so you can study a real unit before paying anything. Raysheo Plus is ₹999 a month, ₹4,999 for a semester (six months) or ₹7,999 a year, GST included. In the iPhone and Android apps the plans start with a 3-day free trial and are billed by Apple or Google Play, renewing until you cancel. On the web you can pay once by UPI for the period you choose — it does not renew on its own and is not refundable. One plan works everywhere you sign in.
