The question (13 marks)
A student legislature is debating a Bill to raise the minimum age of marriage. One member says that a well-drafted penal provision will end the practice within a year. Another says that a law on this subject is useless and that only social work can help. A third asks how the debate should be conducted when the facts of the case that prompted the Bill are disputed. Using M. K. Gandhi's essays on child marriage, and drawing where helpful on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Emma Watson, answer all three members. (13 marks)

How an answer is marked
A full-marks answer names the issue in one line, states the rule with its section, cites the authority, applies it to these facts and concludes — in that order. The app's model answer for this question is written in exactly that shape, with a checklist to mark your own attempt against.
