Labour Law II exam question: An Inspector visits a fireworks workshop

The question (6 marks)

An Inspector visits a fireworks workshop and finds three young persons at work. R, who says he is twelve, is packing crackers; the occupier says R is only helping his uncle, who runs the workshop, and comes in after school. T, who appears to be fifteen, is mixing chemicals on the same premises. V, who is sixteen, is employed in the attached retail shop, where he had begun work at eight in the morning and was still at the counter at nine at night with a single short break, and the occupier produces no register and says the weekly holiday is fixed afresh each week. The occupier disputes the ages of all three. Advise the Inspector. (6 marks)

How an answer is marked
