The question (6 marks)

Three persons arrive at the border of the fictional State of Novara. Anya has fled her country because she belongs to a minority faith whose members are being imprisoned there, and has lodged a claim which is still pending. Bakul left a neighbouring country to look for better paid work. Chandra belongs to a community that the country of his birth does not recognise as its nationals and that no other State recognises either, and he has crossed the border after mass killings in his home province. Classify each of the three and state what protection each may claim; advise Novara whether it may send any of them back at once. (6 marks)

How an answer is marked

A full-marks answer names the issue in one line, states the rule with its section, cites the authority, applies it to these facts and concludes — in that order. The app's model answer for this question is written in exactly that shape, with a checklist to mark your own attempt against.
